We were walking outdoors and I took pictures of many flowers. I wanted to run. I had some fun. I felt good running and having fun. Then I got tired and wanted to go home because I was hungry. There were lots of flowers on the way home and I wanted to take pictures of trillium
and i took pictures of more flowers like spring beauty

This one is called Lamb’s tongue. I asked MomE to hold it up so I could take a picture. I wanted to take a picture because it’s beautiful with the bubbles and the pollen.

This is fringecup. I took this picture because I like the way the leaves went.

This picture was far away. I like it because it’s beautiful and the flowers are blooming. Oregon Grape is good for making your body feel better when you’re sick with a sore throat, cough or some kind of infection. And blackberry leaves and strawberry leaves and raspberry leaves are good for when you sting, like if you crawl into a hive and a wasp stings you. If there was a blackberry or a raspberry or a strawberry leaf, you could chew it up and put it on your sting.

I took this picture because I saw that it had pink flowers and it looked pretty. And the pink flowers were petals and the petals were pretty. Purple is my favorite color. I like the leaves.
Here are some more flowers. Star-flowered false solomon’s seal.
I want to write about more flowers. I like all the flowers because they are pretty and they were growing while I took the pictures. Another walk, i will take many, many, many pictures on the whole walk. If I find insects, I will take a picture of them, but they might fly away if they can fly away, or they might crawl away if they can crawl. But the ones that crawl away slow they will get taken a picture of.

Wow! Maeve’s first blog!! This was fun. She typed some of it, but let me take dictation for most of it. FYI – a lot of these flowers are growing where restoration volunteers have been pulling ivy for the last couple of years. Thanks to all those who are unstrangling these beautiful flowers!

I loved your pictures and the nice things you said about flowers Maeve! I will have to go out and look for some flowers myself next time I am at the park. I look forward to reading your next post.
